You'll Need:
One or two bags of cranberries
Any type of citrus you want (I used 2 limes, 2 lemon, 2 oranges)
A needle and thread
Peel your citrus and cut them into fun shapes
String them onto the thread and let your little sister photo bomb ;)
We originally wanted to keep them pretty spread out on the string, but later decided that they look way prettier when they're closely strung.
Wrap them around your crazy tree
Making garland out of popcorn and cranberries is one of my favorite childhood Christmas memories so I definitely wanted to keep the tradition going. This year, I've been focusing a lot on all the amazing scents that come with Christmas. From tying cinnamon sticks around my candles to putting pieces of my Christmas tree stump in the oven (seriously) I have been trying to fully embrace all of the amazing smells. So when it came down to garland making time, I decided why not try something that smells as good as it looks? I skipped over the popcorn for some of the prettiest and best smelling fruits I could muster up and used them for my favorite garland of all time. My whole house smells amazing now, and it was super fun to make!
Merry Christmas!
